Faces of the BAC
June Volunteer Meeting
.......
Terina Barta, long time resident of Beaverton , met her husband Jim when she was a junior at BHS. They have two sons, age 6 and 3. Sean, the oldest of the two, has participated in the All Sports and Flag Football at Beaverton Activity Center. Terina points out how fun the programs are for families. You can find Terina these days working at the Beaverton branch of Gladwin County District Library. She and her dedicated fellow staff members worked hard to get the new library ready for grand opening, and look forward to implementing many new ideas for adult and kids programs. She is an avid reader who cites WINTER GARDEN, SWORN TO SILENCE, and SHORT STRAW BRIDE among her favorite titles. Feel free to ask her for details and for other book recommendations when you see her at the library. She is one of the many Faces of the BAC who make it a great place to visit.

Some of the many Volunteers for Beaverton Activity Center gathered for a Holiday Reception and meeting in December. Almost 1,500 hours were logged by volunteers in November, showing why we are truly a COMMUNITY center.Their smiling faces and red vests are evident every day we are open.
